"Karl" is a 17 year old Tennessee Walking Horse gelding that is the pure definition of a trail blazer. He may not be the normal kind of figure in our barn, but man is he fun.

We bought this guy directly from a very close friend, who's mom decided to retire from riding.... (read more) This was her personal horse and has been cared for as such. If you tell me you have a sweet, yellow gelding, you already hit my soft spot, so we couldn't say no!

This guy has been ridden all over on the trails, in the arena and everywhere in between. He has crossed water, gone up and down hills, done overnight camping, and been ridden past busy traffic. He will ride out alone or in a group.

He moves out easy, and does know how to "gait" as always wanted from this breed. You won't find anything smoother! He does neck rein, walk, trot, and lope. He is very sweet in the barn and is very easy going.

He is surefooted and currently barefoot. Hay and water is all that is needed to keep this guy looking the way he does. Nothing can be better than an easy keeper. Just look at the winter coat that he grew, and is now falling off just with your eyes. He winters VERY easy, and lives outside like a champ. Pull him out, saddle up, and go on! Do not let his age fool you, this guy is just barely at half his lifetime, and somebody is going to absolutely adore him.
