Moon is a 16hh 2018 OTTB mare. She is super easy to handle and has an easy-going attitude. Her pedigree is filled with names known for producing great second career sporthorses. She’s winter sun-bleached in pics, but she’s a beautiful true black. She has great feet and is barefoot. She is happy living inside or out; loves to get dirty! Moon is eye catching with her big floaty trot and scopey jump. She is forward-thinking but stops as soon as you take your leg off.... (read more) She has been schooled up to 2’3 at home and gone over a few XC jumps with ease. She’s easy on trails. Good for farrier, bathing, etc. No vices and no spook, bolt, or rear. Moon is a pretty straightforward ride but not recommended for a beginner as she is still pretty green. She could really go in any direction- jumpers, dressage, or eventing. Moon will start showing this Spring. Price will increase with miles. I will be especially picky where Moon goes as I intended to keep her until I had to get realistic about my time constraints. She’s a special horse and a lot of fun to ride!
