Delta is a sporty 9 y/o paint/draft cross. In his last life he was cowboyed off of, then used as a trail horse. He stands 16hh and wears a size 3 shoe on his fronts and a size 2 on his hinds. His current owners got him the fall of 2021 as a step up horse for a youth rider.

He competed in local jumper (2’) and dressage shows (training level) a handful of times with little to no preparation as he was the back up horse and rose to the occasion every time.... Although we had big plans for him last summer, he was only ridden sporadically as his rider lost interest in horses. He just finished a tuneup and is ready to go.

Delta wants to please and is generally the first one to greet you at the gate without being obnoxious and is brave on the trail. We have used him to lead dude rides and pony colts and he was perfect for both. He’s not a deadhead or lug, so he needs someone who has some experience and I would not recommend him for a beginner without some guidance. Ties, trailers, stands for the farrier.
