Turning 4 years old filly. Bay paint. Around 13.2 hands tall. I bought her from a lady who had rescued her as a foal and bottle fed her.

I had her DNA tested at two places (yes, I know they aren’t perfect, but without a pedigree or any idea of breed, it’s what I’ve got). Texas A&M said 1)Mangalarga Marchador 2) Caspian 3) Mangalarga; DNA My Horse said 1) Criollo 2) Galiceno 3) Lusitano. Can send DNA results along with video of the trainer riding her. She is green broke and needs more work. She loves to run around in the pasture, but doesn’t really want to go when under saddle. I think she needs to really trust her rider and spend a lot of time with them before she will be more willing. I paid a guy to “start” her (she was supposed to be broke when I bought her, but wasn’t really) and then I paid a girl to ride her for another 30 days because I didn’t have time. If she was ridden a lot more, I think she would make an excellent jumper (she is small, but she can jump!), or a great barrel horse (she is very fast and can turn really well).
