Nellie is a 16 year old sorrel QH mare standing 14.2 hands tall.
This is a nice mare that I have really enjoyed riding.
She is a great trail horse!
Leads or follows.
Easy to catch.
Easy to tack up.
Stands for mounting.
She's turned out in a mixed herd and minds her business, tree fell over the fence last week and the whole field got out....she stayed in.
Not spooky, rides with the dogs and been around traffic, 4 wheelers, a speeding school bus, etc.... (read more)
We were told she was a camp horse, I think she rides way better than that.
Comfy jog and will lope with a push.
Shod but could use a reset.

We buy and sell horses and ponies. There are several of us who work with all the animals and evaluate them, figure out their personalities and quirks, and let's be honest, they all have them. We are very honest about what we are selling and tell all the behaviors we have noticed while they are with us. Key words being "while they are with us." If you take them home, feed 10 gallons of grain, don't ride them and let them get away with every bad behavior possible, we can't help that when their behavior changes.
