This guy is looking for his new home. Mister Maverick is a 15-16 year old gaited Kentucky Mountain gelding approximately 15 hands. Mister is brave and confident on the trail. He prefers to lead because he is a very forward moving horse but can be anywhere in line. He is currently at a boarding barn and is the barn favorite due to his good nature.
I’ve ridden him in medieval themed gymkhana games/ obstacle course and he did phenomenal with all of them as well as mounted archery.... (read more) He is steady and sturdy but because he likes to move out and is a very forward mover I would recommend an intermediate rider or beginner with a coach. picks up feet for farrier, goes barefoot. Stands like a statue for vet, stands at mounting block until asked to move. Stalled at night, low in the herd in the pasture. Video available upon request. Has current coggins.
