Faith is a super sweet, coming two year-old 13h pony. She is not registered, her mom was rescued from the kill pens and faith was born shortly after. She’s in your pocket the second she sees you, loves peppermint candies and to be pampered.
The only reason Faith is being sold, is due to having too many young horses to train. Faith would make a great project pony for someone wanting to learn to break a horse. She takes a saddle and line drives in a rope halter.... (read more) She’s been sat on bareback in the arena and in her stall with no issues. Not much fazes this little girl. You can stand next to or sit on her to throw a rope, and it doesn’t bother her. She can be stubborn but her stubborn is standing still or backing slightly away. Give her a moment to think about it and some encouragement and she overcomes with ease.
Faith leads great, and has been started on showmanship, she side passes both directions on the ground, rear and forehand pivots, backs beautifully and is working on setting up.
She stands great for baths, grooming, vet, farrier, loads and travels in a trailer alone.
Faith did have an injury when she was younger, which caused the appearance of locking stifles. With osteomax, routine, and proper farrier work and routine ground pole exercises, hill work and backing exercises done with her, she is recovering nicely. She has not shown any signs of locking stifles in three months.
