Sired by a money earning reining stud (but he shows tons of promise as a cow horse) Platinum is a coming 4 year old registered AQHA gelding. He stands 14.1 hands and is 900 lbs according to weight tape.
He has 120 solid days on the ground and under saddle, scoring As in the Downunder Horsemanship Method Fundamentals and A-B range in the Intermediate series.
Under saddle, he has a controlled motor and steering wheel.

Platinum has had a good start but is an athletic, high energy horse that will thrive with consistency. Though he does not buck or rear, I would not recommend him for a beginner, but certainly an intermediate rider or someone wanting to compete in amateur divisions. He is a ton of fun to work with and a joy to be around!
Maintenance wise, he does perform better with shoes on the front at least but is currently shod on all 4.

He has been here with us for almost 2 years now, so this is one we’ve put a lot of time and money into, but we are getting out of Quarter Horses completely.
