LIL BLUE CORONA - 4 year old (March) registered dun quarter horse. Sired by Boon Docs Freckles out of Emmas Blue Doc Too. Beautiful dun who is still growing currently sticks at 15.H. This horse is stunning with correct confirmation, and brain who has never put a wrong foot forward. Already started under saddle with all the basics. Finish him off the way you want. He could be ready to show this season with some more education and miles. Don’t show?... (read more) No worries he has already hit the trails alone and in a group. No buck, bolt, or rear. He goes through mud, into water, over logs, and has ridden in state parks. Pastured 24/7 in a mixed herd. Is currently barefoot, did have shoes in the summer for trail riding as we ride on hard rocky ground. Recent front foot x-rays. UTD on coggins, vaccines, chiropractor and farrier. Has had time off this winter due to a recent growth spurt, but we hopped right on and no funny business. Is the most level headed and easy going 3 year old I have ever seen. This horse is going to turn into a real beauty one day and a great partner no matter which route you take. Cons: does crib and needs a cribbing collar. Treated for ulcers, and looked at by vet. Is on small amount of grain/beat pulp just through the winter. Ridden western but could see him going english and enjoying a hunter/jumper future. Has jumped small logs, and cross country course. We haven’t pushed due to his age.
