Additional Comments
Amigo is a goofy two-year-old 14hh bay Mustang, who was rounded up off the plains of Colorado. Amigo stands tied well, but can be a bit spooky sometimes. He has not had any professional farrier work done on him, but I have clipper both front hooves and his back right. He can pick up all four feet and stands for grooming. He has not had a vet checkup up but was orally dewormed on February 3rd and took it like an angel. He has a beautiful walk, trot, canter, and gallop.... (read more) He leads good and is halter broke, and has had a bridle on a couple times but not consistently. I have walked Amigo up the ramp of our trailer, but he has not been fully trailered as our trailer is not good for trailer training. I have have ridden him bareback six times in the round pen as well as once in the open pasture. He has never tried to bolt on me while I’m riding him. Amigo also does great with dogs and other horses, he’s middle to top of the pecking order and does kind of like to throw his weight around once he gets more confident. He is ready to be started, I think he would be a great barrel racer, but he could go any direction. He is a bit wary with new people, as he has only mainly worked with me and one other woman who only comes around once a week. Amigo is currently healing from a sore on his withers that will hopefully heal up soon. My only reason for selling is that our fence does not work with him and I would recommend he goes to a home with wooden, pipe, or metal fencing, not electric. Price will go up as his training progresses. Amigo does not require a BLM application. If you are interested or have any questions, text or call me at +16159734383
