Recently imported from the UK, SD Strawberry Fancie is an asset to any breeding program or family! Broke to ride (will need a refresher), and a proven broodmare and she is currently in foal for May - she ticks all the boxes!

This mare is a thick! Strawberry is everything a breeding program would want: foundation-built, great confirmation, sweet nature and not mareish at all, feather for days, great mane and tail, a fabulous momma. She is excellent in the herd as she is not fighting to be top dog and will avoid confrontation, but she will discipline the young ones that need it.... (read more) She is a great herd mare! To top it off, she is in foal for early May to a UK up-and-coming young stallion who won many titles last year including Overall Best Of Breed Youngstock Supreme at TOYS UK 2023. The foal will be 14hh+ and color possibilities are:

Now for the cherry on the top; she was previously broke to ride and had 2 years riding and showing before having her first foal. She would not take much to get back under saddle.

Knights Branch Farm is a 40-acre horse farm conveniently situated next to Sandy Point State Forest in King William County, Virginia. We have the privilege to be able to ride the forest's 11.5 miles of trails straight from our farm! We offer a blanket washing and repair service for local equestrians, and make our own hay which we offer a small amount for sale each year.
