Petuina is 14/15 years old and about 14.3 hands. She’ll do any and every job you put her too. You can get her to slow lope, pitter patter trot, move out into a working trot and canter, swap leads on the fly, back, side pass, move off leg, and whatever little maneuver you want to pull out.
Throw your small child, grandmother, husband, your fishes-monkeys-uncle on her and turn them loose.
You can take her in the open and run her as hard as she’ll go and she’ll come right back down to a walk in an instant.... (read more)
Just want to walk? She’ll do just that too WITHOUT trying to break into a trot.
Petuina has more common sense than most humans and doesn’t believe in invisible monsters that lurk in corners of arenas or trees like your fresh little gelding does.
Cars aren’t any issue and neither are dogs, bags, flags, or small humans that roll trucks under her belly as she stands tied in the barn. (Ahem…my two year old).
You can dress up and live your Yellowstone dreams by chasing cattle, going through the deepest brush or canter free in the biggest of fields.
Of you can shine up, go English and pop over some cross rails, throw some rhinestones on her, and match your saddle pad to your breeches. She won’t judge. (Neither will I.)
Best yet, you can ENOY having a horse that isn’t going to scare you. No walking on egg shells, no tension, and no wondering what today’s ride is going to be like.
Just come home, take a ride and let her remind you WHY you enjoy horses.
She doesn’t need to be in a program and she can sit as long as you need her too.
Easy to catch, tie, self bridles, stands to be groomed and tacked. Loads on a trailer and hauls quietly. Lives inside or outside. Gets along with mares and geldings. Ride her in a snaffle, halter or neck rope.
Up to date on Vaccines, rabies, coggins, fresh shoes (can be barefoot), and dental.
She is only available as her old owners no longer could afford horses. Petuina could use some weight and muscle gain, but throws on the pounds here every day with ease. Just feed her and ride her. Seriously.
