Poptart is a THICK 13hh, 8yo paint pony. I am 5’7” and 140# and she is my go-to everything pony. She has pushed cows and completed one 25 mile LD endurance ride. She has been ridden all over the West Texas, New Mexico and Colorado mountains. She camps and moves out solo just as well as she does with others. She is the pony I reach for whenever I want to go camping alone for a weekend.... (read more) Hauls great, dead last in the pecking order, is a great companion to my older mare. Super easy keeper. Poptart is currently 8 years old, UTD, goes barefoot, rides best in a small shank hackamore. I ride her in a halter when she is worked regularly. She has a bit of zip to her so I’d like to see her be a confident teen’s or intermediate adult’s play day, ranch, LD endurance or all around pony. She is NOT a babysitter type. She crosses all obstacles. Loves to be loved on. I’ll be very sad to see Poptart go but I’ve gotten more into Hackneys and need the room.
