Hot Rod is a 7 year old Draft Cross Gelding standing 14.1 hands tall with a size 2 shoe. He is very heavy boned and thick made. Hot Rod is one hand broke and very handy. He has been used on a calf operation and knows a days work and has been roped off of extensively. He will work a gate, work a rope, and sort in the corrals handily.... (read more) He has been roped off of in the arena and on the sled too and knows how to track, rate, and can pull absolutely anything. He is SAFE and saddles up with absolutely no buck or hump every single time you ride him. He is friendly and personable, easy to catch, etc. Hot Rod is very easy to ride, not spooky, and will go over or through anything you point him at. He has been ridden outside and down the trails and is extremely sure footed and confident. He will hold nice circles in the arena as well. He is super fun to ride and do just about anything on. We have taken Hot Rod down the freeway, pulled logs, calves, barrels etc off of him and even taken him swimming. He LOVES the water. He is safe and gentle for the entire family but also can go do a job if you want to. Rides English, Western, and bareback. He is 100% Sound, Straight and Clean legged. UTD on everything. Easy keeper.
