Morgan has all age-appropriate training and is SHOW RING READY.... (read more) He has been harnessed, ground driven and hitched to a cart and driven short distances. He has been saddled and sat on. He will be extremely easy to train and has the mind for driving. He stands quiet when tied and also stands politely for the farrier. He has great hooves and receives routine farrier/hoof care. Morgan is comfortable with grooming, bathing, clipping, force drying and muscle work. When not stalled, Morgan turns out in a bachelor herd with another stud colt and multiple geldings, he does very well in that environment. He also goes out with two blind geldings and is very kind to them.
Morgan has been showing successfully since the young age of 6 months old, he has traveled and shown in over five states. He is a 2023 EOY High Point winner with the International Drum Horse Assocation and has a Reserve Champion Stallion title. He placed over his sire in Halter as a yearling. He is quite flashy and gets a good bit of attention when in the show ring.
His parental line has great success in Dressage, and we expect Morgan to also excel there. His bloodlines include: Alexander the Great PRR, Galway Warrior, Cushti Bok, Woodland Glenord, Bardrill Glenord. His sire is currently showing, and his dam is a multi-champion mare in her own right with 18 titles of her own. Morgan's dam is from very old Clydesdale bloodlines and is also a Cushti Bok granddaughter.
I have full DNA results available on him. We welcome and encourage pre-purchase veterinary examinations or trainer evaluations at buyer’s expense. He is current on all vaccinations and has a current negative Coggins.
Morgan can be purchased intact or as a gelding. I would love to find a home that will further his show career. I plan to geld him in May.
