Blessing (Pleasing Dom) is a beautiful and gentle mare. She was a race horse for a short time then sold. In Sept 2022 she was found in the desert extremely emaciated and near death. She was rescued by the Sheriff's Office and a local rescue and rehabbed. Her rear hoof was nearly gone and she needed a prosthetic for 4 months while it grew back. She loves baths, brushes, treats and being hugged. Due to the hoof issue, she cannot be trail ridden on very uneven/rocky ground.... (read more) With a light enough rider and some work to strengthen that leg, she would probably do great on the streets and level ground. She doesn't spook at much, mostly just the garbage truck. She is a little hesitant when first going out on the flat desert trails (seems like a little PTSD of sorts). She gets along with other horses, goats and chickens. She lifts for the ferrier and follows many commands. For her story, google "pleasing dom horse". Many articles were written about her. Due to my own injury I am unable to ride and do much with her. I would love for her to go to a home where she will be loved on and have room to play. She loves to run around the yard, splash in the water and roll in the mud.
