“Opal” is a 2007 Appaloosa sport horse mare. She is black with chrome and stands at 16.3hh. She is 100% sound with x-rays available.
She has a very good mind and is not spooky or mare-ish. She is amateur friendly and would make a wonderful show horse for a child or beginner adult. She is trained as a Hunter-Jumper, but could easily take up any discipline.
Opal has a smooth gait, she is easy to ride, and she has wonderful lateral movement.... (read more)
She rides english, western, and bareback. She rides in a snaffle but can also be ridden in just a halter.
She has a beautiful jump and will “point and shoot”. She is able to jump over 1m with a rider, but is being listed for 3’ and under.
Opal has shown in ApHC Hunter Worlds and has points in both Jumping and In-Hand. She won 3rd in 2015.
