I have had Spartan almost 2 years and he is sweet as can be. I absolutely love this horse so a good home is a must.
15.2 hands sticked
Picks up all 4 feet
Barefoot and sound
Lunges both directions no problem
Stands still for mounting & dismounting
Walks on loose rein
Does trail ride but needs more miles
Rides In arena
Naturally gaited
Very easy to catch
No problems around dogs, traffic, tractors, and other scary things like blankets hanging off of fences and things blowing in wind
Has some exposure to cows from next door
Not spooky but likes to look around.... (read more) If he isn’t sure on something he just stops quick
I am not a confident rider so I am selling because on trails he will need a confident rider.
He has had my beginner teenage son on him in arena and is great. Also on trail with me walking beside him.
He does need to be on low starch and sugar feed or ration balancer
