This big pretty filly is one we had considered holding onto for another year or two, but we've decided to downsize the 'keeper' list just a bit to make the barn easier to manage. Lucasia Cherry is a really sweet girl to have in the barn. She's very correct conformationally and is growing into quite a nice mare! She currently stands 17.2 as a coming two year old - we expect her to mature at or slightly above 18hh. She has been lightly introduced to lunging and long-lining in the round pen and has been doing really well!... (read more) We are planning to continue to introduce new skills throughout the winter as time allows. She is a very interested and willing participant in her lessons each day and thrives on having something to do with her people. Cherry is very good for general handling (Grooming, cross tying or tied straight, bathing, hoof work, clipping, etc) and could be a really fun partner for virtually anything her future people would like to try. She would also be an interesting addition to a future mare band; she is a total outcross to most currently popular bloodlines within the breed. She is pssm1 tested and is n/n.
