Meet Vegas
This GORGEOUS fella is a 14 year old registered Percheron draft gelding standing at a jaw dropping 18.3hands tall. He is broke to drive, formerly pulled a 6-horse cart, been shown, and he does ride in saddle and bareback as well. Vegas was shown for years winning various awards and even received an award for Grand Halter Champion. He has been loved immensely his entire life and unfortunately ended up in the auction/kill-pen pipeline at no fault of his own in October.... (read more) His owner who has owned him majority of his life thought he had sold to a good forever family but she was terribly wrong and had no idea until we tracked her down. He had passed thru what looks to be atleast 3 pens before we seen him listed on a Texas kill-pen page. We bailed him and had him hauled up to Minnesota where he is now. Throughout the last few months he has settled in and we've brought him into saddle work. He has been showing us that his heart is as BIG as he is! He has loads of personality and is a gentle giant, a true gentleman, is first to the gate, comes to his name, and has a big puppy temperament.

Vegas can move let me tell you, he has a big + floaty+ beautiful trot. Comes out of his paddock/stall and looks like hes showing off but really thats just how fancy he always moves. He LOVES attention, good food, going for walks or a stroll around, and respects all fencing. The woman who owned him majority of his life says we are her guardian angel, and she is beyond happy he's with us as we have assured her we will make sure he remains in good, loving hands, and finds a forever family that will send her updates. Vegas was shown for years by her youth granddaughter, he was also her husbands last baby, and is engraved on his headstone. (See pics attached) Vegas is full of life, utd on everything under the sun. He comes with a fan club of his own and one of our supporters and repeat buyers even bought him a blanket. No vices. No maintenance. No past injuries. No limitations. An excellent, forever home is a must!
He was not cheap to bail and we had invested over mid x,xxx before he even stepped off the trailer so what he's listed at reflects a portion of what we have into him and he's still reasonable for all that he is. **Video is available!
