UC Ballad on Main, “Bella'' is a 3-year-old Morgan mare standing at 14.2. Bella is out of SMP Main Topic (Mainframe x Crescent Command by Tedwin Topic) by Canon (UVM Springfield x Pastorale). Bella’s sire Canon is the son of World Champion Park Harness mare Pastorale and by the outstanding stallion UVM Springfield.... (read more) He is a classically beautiful Morgan stallion with a pedigree certain to produce quality Morgans. His foals are successfully competing across disciplines and are known for their trainability, athleticism, and true Morgan character. Bella is well behaved when standing for the vet, farrier, tacking, and loves to be groomed. She has a very strong foundation in ground manners, desensitization, lunging and ground driving at the walk/trot. This filly demonstrates the showy characteristics passed down from her parents with a desirable high headset, animated gaits, and work ethic that would allow her to go in any direction, likely excelling in driving or pleasure arenas.

University of Connecticut Department of Animal Sci

The University of Connecticut offers a four-year Animal Science degree with an Equine Science area of interest. The program is flexible, offering both a broad liberal education, involving a choice of several electives, combined with the option of individual development. A two-year program is available through the Ratcliffe Hicks School of Agriculture in which courses cover the more practical aspects of Animal Science....
