Peelers Drift Two aka Milo is a AQHA registered 5 year old gelding. Foaled May 22, 2018. Bloodlines include Peppy San Badger, Mr Metallic, Chancy Cat, pile of driftwood. This gelding is a gorgeous palomino with perfect confirmation. Yes, he stands a true 16.2 hands. He’s not tall and lanky he is big bodied and made how one should be. Big feet, big boned, the kindest eyes you can ask for and pretty headed. He is one of the tallest/biggest bodied Quarter horses we’ve owned.... (read more) This gelding is bigger and put together better than a lot of draft crosses. If you’ve been draft cross shopping or want a big horse don’t pass Milo by just because he’s full Quarter Horse. This gelding has an exceptional mind and is wise beyond his years. At just 5 he already outrides a lot of horses that are twice to three times his age. I bought this gelding off a young woman who owned him since he was a yearling. He has been extensively trail ridden, has been camping, ties to the picket line and has ponied numerous colts. This horse has trail ridden in groups with a couple hundred horses and also by himself. He has seen road, cars, traffic, trucks, motorcycles, 4 wheelers, deer, Fox, turkeys and pretty much anything else you’ll find down a road, in the woods or in a wide open field. Milo is soft in the mouth, has always ridden in a snaffle bit, has great brakes and the patience of a saint. Stands for mounting and dismounting. True one handed neck rein, will back up a mile and moves off your leg. This gelding has flawless transitions and a lope to die for. He’ll lope small circles which isn’t to easy to find in a horse this size. He also side passes both directions and has a automatic lead change. You really can’t ask for a more honest gelding. He will take a joke and is super uncomplicated. Never gets quick and you can ride him on the buckle or no hands at all! This horse rides with a level head and never raises his head above the saddle horn. When we got him he had only ever been a western horse. We threw English tack on him and jumped on. He rode right off like he had been ridden English his whole life. We also asked him to jump cross rails which he did with zero hesitation. Milo has the willingness, size and confirmation to jump much bigger if that’s what you want to do. This gelding has no vices what so ever, is 110% sound with excellent hooves and has never worn shoes in his life. He has beautiful big black feet. Very sweet in your pocket personality. You can catch him anywhere and he’ll take all the attention and love a person wants to give. This horse loves people, has always been treated well and never passed around. All that means a lot and that’s why he is the horse that he is. No vices what so ever and good for everything. There’s absolutely nothing I can say he doesn’t like this or don’t do that because he’s fine and willing with anything we’ve thrown at him or asked of him. His ground manners are absolutely exceptional and anyone in the world can handle him. Cross ties, clips, bathes, trailers, good to saddle, easy to bridle, good to blanket, easy to halter, great to lead. Very easy keeper that lives inside or out. Currently living off western alfalfa hay and grass pasture and looks great. Gets along with all other horses or can be turned out alone. He is one of the easiest horses to have around. Now for the best part, even with him being 5 if he sits for a week he’s still the same horse and will ride off the same way. No lunging necessary. This is a gelding that can carry any size and level rider with no issues at all. A beautiful mover that can be extremely versatile. This horse is a great fox hunting prospect, mounted patrol horse, rodeo pickup horse to in our opinions. I honestly feel you can go do anything with this horse and he’ll be willing and do it well.
