"Raspotnik Branda"
This splendid three-quarters Friesian (one fourth Canadian) 4 year old sport mare is now available at the Sunrise Ranch. Branda stands one inch short of 16 hands and is registered with the Friesian Heritage and Sport Horse International registry. She is a granddaughter of the much well respected Friesian stallion Nanning 374 and is classic old stye baroque in type. Branda has received a slow correct start under saddle and become quite proficient in the long lines.... (read more) She knows her yeilds, sidepass, and is working on leads and canter departures. Branda has been lovingly handled since birth and she seakes attention and over children. My 10 year old groomed her for this footage vigorously brushing, wiping, and scampering all around her while Branda stood enjoying the process! Catching, tying, saddling, loading, hoof care is all easy and she is very good at siding up to a mounting block and standing patiently. Branda has the quiet, affectionate, intelligent nature we love in Friesians and she is ready for her own person and the next chapter in her life. She will remain at the SRR in training till that time comes and her $# will increase accordingly. Located at the Sunrise Ranch in northern Wisconsin.
