Amigo is a very well broke gelding that anyone can ride. He has a handle that the pros love. He rides on a loose rein with a one hand neck rein. He has a good backup, bends at the pole, and has a great stop. He is very smooth at the walk, trot, and canter. He will ride the same way every time you ride him.

Amigo has no problem letting you open/close gates off him, carry a flag, he will walk down streams, and over fallen trees. He is used to heavy equipment and its sounds, we have a construction company next door and he is used to all the heavy equipment sounds (i.... (read more) e. dump trucks, bulldozers, semis, lawnmowers, track hoes, etc.) He has no problem walking up/down steep ditches and ravines, he will go anywhere you point him, through thick brush, in the woods with no spook. Rides next to trucks and trailers moving and banging around, or next to lawnmowers on the other side of our fence.

Amigo stands still for the vet/farrier, while being saddled/bridled, clipped, groomed, sprayed for flies, putting on a fly mask, picking his feet, being mounted (from the ground or the mounting block), while standing tied, he loads well and hauls well. He is easy to catch, is gentle, is kid and dog friendly (we have 4 dogs), and gets along with all of our other horses (mares and geldings alike).

Amigo would be a great prospect for; ranch sorting, team penning, goat tying, playdays, drill team, barrels, poles, grand entry, parades, polo, pony horse, trail riding, trail horse competitions, a lesson horse or walk-trot. He would be a great all-around family horse, from trails and pleasure, or train for roping or plays!!! Amigo is young and has the potential to be any type of horse and can go in any direction that you want whether it be sorting, ranch work, western pleasure, or trail horse competitions.

Amigo is a beautiful gelding standing 14.1hh with good conformation, a handsome face, a kind eye, a strong neck, nice withers, a straight back, a wide chest, and hip. He has a good mind and learns quickly, has a great disposition, and is smart enough to learn any type of job.
