Pebbles is a 14 year-old Belgian mare standing at about 17.2 hands. I've owned her for more than 2 1/2 years during which time she has been used as a trail horse. She can carry heavier riders (up to 250 lbs) and can be used to double young children who are too young to ride on their own. We have also used her for 'pony rides' for youths and adults with special needs.

The reason for offering Pebbles for sale is because I feel that she would benefit from a grassy pasture, which I don't have.... (read more) I strictly feed my horses hay and grain, and I'm finding it challenging to keep her at her optimal weight in the absence of green grass. What little grass I have is for entertainment purposes only; it won't sustain a horse. Pebbles has been de-wormed with 2 tubes Equimectrin Gold on Sept 15, 2023, and her teeth were floated on March 21, 2023.

Pebbles has a knot on her knee. I was told it was the result of an old injury. She's had it since I bought her, and it hasn't bothered her or made her lame. She can still be ridden and is beginner and kid safe.

I would love to see Pebbles go to a loving home with a family who will appreciate her. I'd like to see that she's going to a good home with adequate grass with grain as a supplement, so I'll be happy to deliver her at no additional cost provided she's within 30 miles from my farm in Raleigh, NC.
