Cheap project geldings! Coda and Tucker
Pair of ranch horses that have been neglected and sitting for some time now.
They have been together for 10 years and they are both 15 years old. Coda stands about 14.1 and Tucker stands about 15 hands.
Coda is the buckskin color changing one with the video links attached below (he changes colors like 4 times a year) goes from a buckskin roan to a dark chocolate, he was ridden a lot on ranches, roped on, used for kids trail rides and all kinds of outdoor riding he sat for a couple of years, and then we rode him which you can see in the video links of him and he did great and then he sat another 6 months or so and the last time we rode him, we were riding down beside the Highway where there was major construction going on and a big excavator was coming toward us and he started bucking, he had a beginner on him and she fell off and he headed back toward the barn and that was the last time we have rode him which was a couple of months ago.... (read more)
I believe he probably just needs a good tune up and someone to spend some time with him vs him just sitting in a pasture. I have pretty much stopped riding due to training for years and my back is in bad shape and I have two little ones and I can’t risk anything happening and me being crippled from any jarring at all so I am selling this pair cheap to get them somewhere to get the attention they need.
Tucker was used as a head and heel horse and has been on miles of trail rides, both have been hauled to multiple states and ridden in some rough terrain, dragged elk out of mountains and on many overnight rides, Tucker was used as a head and heel horse in jackpots and is a nice rope horse however his back got out of alignment at some point and now he bucks ONLY when you lope him as he needs a chiropractor and popped back in to alignment. He is a very pretty sorrel. I don’t have any videos of him riding, I did at one point but lost my phone and the videos I had didn’t back up to my iCloud and he hasn’t been ridden in a couple of years now and I have NO WAY of getting any riding videos of him and he really shouldn’t be ridden until his back is popped back in as I don’t want to cause him any pain and give him a worse taste of people. Tucker stands about 15 hands maybe 15.1 both are hard to catch as they have just been running in a big pasture not being messed with except when it’s time to doctor or do something unpleasant if you call them into the barn or pen tho with some feed and they know they are caught then you can walk up and halter them.
Tucker was ridden more by cowboys who cowboyd him around so he’s watchy of the person especially until he gets to know you and acts like he’s waiting almost for someone to smack him or be mean to him and I hate that for him and I’m praying I find them both a great home where they get lots of treats and attention that they both have been lacking for a long time. They are priced to sell as a pair, where they are I have no round pen or anything to ride them and if someone wants them then bring cash and come pick them up or send money and I’ll deliver them or put them on a transport truck. They would make great companion horses or could be good riding horses again in no time with some TLC. They are current on worming, they will need a coggins as theirs expired and we don’t haul them anywhere and they have been on the same pasture together with our cows. They know how they are suppose to act and do so accordingly they both stand tied, stand for the farrier, load very easy and I’ve had them in several different types of trailers, they aren’t ugly, they don’t try to bite, kick or anything like that. They need a good loving home where they can experience a life outside of what they have been used to which is ranching and working every time people are close them. Calls or text only, i can personally deliver them for a fee or help you find a reputable shipping company! Thank you so much for checking them out and I look forward to hearing from you. Additional things I remembered.
They have have done team penning, team sorting, worked cattle, done play days, ran the barrels, dragged calves

I specialize in training and selling family safe, dog like, loving horses! I was born riding horses and started training personal horses at about 8 years old and then other people’s horses when I was 12 years old.
I only charged $400 per month and that included their feed! Oh, how times have changed!... (read more) I have had countless injuries and hospital visits caused from the many different horses I was so incredibly addicted to training growing up! Many of the horses we had, were marketed or portrayed to be “Kid Safe" "Bombproof" “Grandma Safe” If we ever meet, you’ll see at least a few of the scars I ended up with from those “Safe” horses because the scars are on my face…….
I have many more scars and have broken or fractured every limb at least once, broken ribs, dislocations, concussions, tailbone broken TWICE and many stories if anyone would ever like to hear them or see some of the scary and gross pictures, I’m always happy to share!
My poor parents had many hospital trips and an expensive ambulance ride or two, medical bills and according to my poor momma a whole lot more stress and worry than any mother deserves! There were also lots of times my momma was cleaning up my wounds at home too. And unfortunately for me, now being in my thirties, I am paying the price every single day throughout my body for all those injuries and sometimes depending on how long I ride for or what I’m doing on the horses I could be in bad shape physically for a few days and in a lot of pain if I’m not careful. It’s awful to live with and that’s one of the many reasons I do what I do and sell the horses I do! I try my best to help prevent bad stories like mine for other people and help them get good quality horses that suit them and their needs. After many years of learning about horses, as well as some unlearning of a few things, I now have the experience and ability to identify which horses are suitable for families and which ones are not and within an incredibly short amount of time! I am extremely picky about the horses that I personally buy to sell or that I consign to sell because it takes a special type of horse to be or to make into a good family or beginner safe horse! I am also ALWAYS here for questions that you may have even AFTER you have purchased your horse from me! I personally ride every horse extensively so that I can do my best to make sure I’m able to identify and or correct any issues one might have in order to place them with their suitable forever families!
My goal is ALWAYS to suit the right horse or horses with the right level of rider, to ensure the horses have good forever homes and my buyers are extremely happy and are as equipped as possible with everything they and their horse needs for their forever success and happiness with their new family! I sell multiple horses to families that I pair or fit together who ride well together, get along with each other etc. As well as supply all the tack you’ll need that fits you and your horse, so you are 100% ready to go ride once you get them home! If you do not purchase a horse from or through me and would like advice about one that you found, I am happy to help you and give you my honest and unbiased opinion and will travel to look at and ride the horse for you that you are interested in if you’re worried about buying something that won’t fit your needs. I want to see people enjoy good horses and if I can help prevent a bad situation by providing advice, I am happy to help! Just because someone has been riding all their life or has been selling horses doesn’t qualify them to sell “Family Safe Horses” it takes years to be able to identify things and can be extremely dangerous purchasing from someone who has just decided to sell their horse. It is especially important that you are experienced and know what to look for or that you purchase from someone experienced, reputable and honest because one bad horse could cost you more than you ever want to imagine. Be careful in your search and please do not hesitate to call or text me if there is anything I can help you with again, EVEN if that means that you don’t purchase a horse from me! I mean that genuinely! Most of my customers are now close friends, some of them insist on being bonus grandparents to my 2 small children and that makes me very proud. It means the world to me to see my customers enjoying the wonderful life of having a 4-legged best friend or 6 if that’s what your heart desires! Thank you all for checking out our page! You can call or text me anytime FYI I am a single momma with two children 4 and 5 and work here every day on the ranch so please be patient, I will get back with you! I do not check the messages on here so please don’t waste your time. I have more than likely answered any questions one might have in the very long and time-consuming descriptions that I write about each of the horses that I have for sale if you’ll just take the time to read it all and watch the videos before reaching out, so we don’t waste each other’s time.
I am happy to provide references, as I genuinely strive to be as honest as I possibly can about each horse that I sell to ensure the forever happiness of not only the buyer but for the horses as well. Thank you for understanding and I look forward to hearing from you and helping you make your dreams come true! Other things we offer at the now and coming soon! We offer:
