I can't say enough good things about this filly. She’s been a wonderful student learning foal-appropriate basic ground manners, halter training, picking up her feet and having her hooves cleaned. (read more) She has proven to be a very calm, non-skittish, independent, curious, and confident young filly that *loves* attention from people. She will go out of her way to follow you around or walk right up to you in the pasture. She has no reservations about leaving mom's side, playing with the older horses, or exploring on her own. Beautiful movement! She is expected to mature between 15.2 to 16.2 hh, have a thick mane and tail, solid black coat, and moderate to full feathering – taking on almost a purebred racial type. Contrary to the stigma that "Friesians aren't athletic" - this girl definitely will be!

We spared no expense making sure to breed for QUALITY. Her sire is the highly influential, permanently approved KFPS stallion Tsjalle 454 Sport Elite Preferent AAA of Black Pearl Friesians and Miley Friesians. He was chosen due to his extraordinary achievements as well as taking into account is linear score sheet of movement and conformation. His AFBP scores are 75.50 in riding, 91.50 in show driving, and 85.50 in driven dressage. He is the youngest KFPS stallion to ever earn the Preferent predicate and has been highly influential in the modernization of the Friesian.

Yrse’s dam is the sweet-natured, intelligent, and exceptionally affectionate mare Elsa HM of Horsemeister Inc. Her KFPS lineage includes Ludse 305, Feike 395 Sport, Romke 234, and Reitse 272 Sport Preferent. She has a thicker build, level back, has great hooves, clean legs, moderate feathering and has always been the picture of health and soundness. with an excellent temperament. She was bred via AI with cooled semen, conceived on the first try, and delivered Yrse cleanly and unassisted. Elsa is also 1/2 Tennessee Walking Horse but is NOT gaited. But don't be swayed - the TWH is an extremely versatile, athletic, loyal, and frequently overlooked breed. We have a new found appreciation for them since we bought Elsa.

We will not ship any horse that does not have the correct veterinary paperwork to cross state or international lines - no exceptions.
