Rosey is a stout 15hh chestnut Quarter Horse who is 15 years old. Rosey is a super sweet and willing horse. She has great ground manners, will stand quietly all day and is an angel for the farrier. Rosey is well broke to ride walk, trot, canter and has some incredibly smooth gaits!! Rosey has an excellent work ethic and is responsive to her riders leg & seat cues. She is just squeeze and go, easily transitioning through all of her gaits. She has a soft mouth and rides great in a snaffle.... (read more) She will collect up and ride beautifully in frame. It’s been super rewarding working with her as she is such a fast learner and willing participant. Rosey is a versatile horse who has been ridden English, western and bareback. She would make an excellent 4H or equestrian team horse given her willing attitude. Rosey is a fearless trail horse and has no problem leading a group or heading out alone. She has no problem with loud traffic, barking dogs, water, bridges, deer, you name it. She loads and hauls with ease. She has been on all day rides and overnight camping trips and pickets great. She is an easy keeper and gets along great with the other mares & geldings in her field. She would make an awesome lesson horse for confident beginners or anyone looking to do anything gymkhana related.
