"Ginger" was raised and bred on the famous Weavers Ranch near Great Falls, MT. She was ridden as a young horse in all aspects of ranch work and retired to raising babies. We are excited to have her join us and produce some top notch foals for our program. Ginger is Ranching Heritage Challenge enrolled.... (read more) Foals with her breeding have sold for $5-15,000 in the Weaver Quarter Horse sales. She is a really well made sorrel mare that is easy to be around. She foals out easy and her foals are always very personable. Our farrier loves her feet too, always well kept. She may not be sound to ride as her rear pastern have a bit of puffiness to them. Does not affect how she travels while pregnant.

Her last two foals with us have been pretty stellar and she is an awesome mom, does come into milk about a month early each year.

Mile High Cattle and Quarter Horses

Mile High Cattle and Quarter Horses has bred several grade, registered quarter horses, and mules over the last 20 years. All horses and mules are used for a variety of disciplines from working cattle, pleasure riding, hunting and packing in the back country, omoksee and rodeo events. They are all trained at the ranch where they are exposed to many conditions. We breed a few mares each year to different stallions, however in the coming years we will be breeding to a Dunskin Stallion and an HOMOZYGOUS Champagne stallion. We are excited to see their first foal crops.
