Mjöll is a lovely 4-gaited mare. She made the trip from Iceland a little over a year ago, and has spent time periodically with the Taktur Team through her transition. Mjöll settled into life in the States remarkably well. In her time here she has been schooled in the arena in basic dressage maneuvers as well as ridden out on the trails. Most recently, she spent the summer with her current owners trail riding through Canada with nothing but good reports.... (read more) Despite her smaller size, she has no problem covering ground. She is a forward horse, willing to offer speed when asked.

Considerations:

Excellent things certainly do come in small packages! Interested parties should be aware that Mjöll is a fairly petite mare.
Mjöll is currently turned out with a gelding without issue at Taktur. However, the current owner has had issues mixing her into their herd.
Ideal rider level: Intermediate and up.
