Daughter of Blue Spark Olena, son of Shining Spark, and she was bred by the Davis Ranch in UT.
"Texas" is a GEM of a mare. She is always, always the sweetest, easiest mare to do anything with. Breeds easily on first try and foals easily on her own in the pasture. Never any breeding issues. (read more) She was broke to ride when younger but she was in a trailer accident and has some calcification on her hind pastern so is selling as a Broodmare only. She is sound in the pasture. I hate, hate to part with this mare. She has been a dream mare of mine and will only go to a great home. Her mule colt at side is sold and will be weaned on September 10th. She will be ready to go after that. She is confirmed in foal with a heartbeat back to the colt's sire, Sycamore Springs Jake, for a 2024 mule colt. Sycamore Springs Jake is 15.1 hands, was heavily shown in his younger years, and is by far one of the nicest jacks I've ever seen. His foals have incredible dispositions, are easy to train, and make incredibly nice riding mules. Her foal next year should come close to paying for her and be one fancy, fancy mule just like the colt she had this year.
