Bleu is a dun blue eyed grade QH mare. She is 14.3h. Her sire is “scorpion Willy”, and she is out of a grade mare so she is not papered. She was trail ridden most of her life, and has since been in our lesson program. This decision was not made lightly, she will go to a good solid home only. She is great for trail, lessons, and leisure riding, we are just too full and need to cut back on horses. Good to walk trot lope. She does require front shoes.... (read more) She was updated on dental, wormer, and vaccines in June. Great ground manners, super sweet and in your pocket. Great on pasture, but also good to stall. If she is stalled, she is a cribber and wears a cribbing collar. On pasture she doesn’t need it, and does best out there. Price is negotiable to a good home, but we are in no rush. She is a great horse and the kids love her.

Hooves 'n Hearts Equine Rehab & Rescue - We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in January 2022, that through donations, grants, volunteers, and staff can provide dedicated care to farm animals in need. It is our goal to rehabilitate and rehome as many of the rescues as possible.... (read more) And give comfort and dignity to the ones we can't. Dana Mendoza, HHERR's founder, has always had a go for situations like this, rescuing and bettering the lives of horses. She believed that being in a position to help the influx of cases due to the changing economy would be the best option. So with this in mind, she came up with the initial idea to make HHERR a reality to handle these cases and also provide relief to both humans and horse in these situations. Since then, with the help from the community, the rescue continues to grow and help more people and horses.
