"Checkers" is a 7 year old buckskin paint gelding. I won't lie, my dream horse growing up was a tricolor buckskin paint, and I think this guy fits that mold I always said I would own one day.... (read more) Not only does this guy have the color everyone will look twice at, but he is thick made, with small ears and a big hip.

This guy rides great in the arena, or out on our local trails. He may not have many fancy buttons, but he is a blast to ride. He knows his leads, and is not the lazy type to go around each direction when asked. In the arena, we have desensitized him to all of our "funny" stuff - yoga balls, flapping tarps, and carrying flags. Out on the trail, he goes through water, over logs, and rides out alone around the property.

There is no buck, no rear, and no funny business too him. He just needs someone to add the buttons to go in the arena, or hit the trails right off the bat.

He is an easy keeper and as low maintenance as they could make one! He's got the perfect tri-color paint markings and a nice mane.

He is up to date on his vetting, farrier, and is ready for his next place to land. He would thrive in a home where he will continue down the trail, or go ahead and give him a real job. If you have always loved size and color, you can't go wrong with this one!
