Buck's Sunbonnet H. - 2015 Palomino MFT Mare
"Bonnie" is confirmed in foal to our herd sire, Little John Lester, for a 2024 Foal! She is stout built and well put together, beautifully gaited, easy to catch and handle(she usually finds you in the pasture), broke to ride and was trail ridden by previous owner but we have not ridden her ourselves. Her foal by Little John will be spectacular! The MFT cross with him have been some of our nicest foals and we always keep these foals in our training program.... (read more) The only reason she is searching for a new pasture is that we have had the opportunity to add a couple more daughters of McCurdy's Roan Lightning to our program and so we need to downsize a couple of mares.

Little John Lester is a double registered TWHBEA and McCurdy Plantation Horse Bay Roan Stallion. He is my personal riding horse as well and hands down the nicest Walking Horse I've ever had the pleasure of owning. He spends his Spring out in the pasture with his herd of mares and then the rest of the year living with the geldings. He has an incredible disposition and natural gaits that he passes on to his foals. We rarely offer mares in foal to him for sale and this foal will make someone an incredible trail partner.
