Full bred Friesian mare, 4 yrs old and 16.0 H. Sire is Hessel 480 and dam is Isobel Ypke Van Het Kasteel, National and World Champion in carriage driving. She is registered with KFPS. Pedigree includes such greats as Norbert, Sipke, Tsjerk, Jelke and Teade. Jewelee has the sweetest disposition and the highly exaggerated leg carriage characteristic of the breed. She has been in light ground training for 2 yrs now, but is not yet fully under saddle.... (read more) She has an extremely willing personality and is very loving; surrounded by kids daily. She would excel in dressage, or she would also make an excellent brood mare with her pedigree. She is an easy keeper, holds her weight well, and is barefoot, requiring only trims. Up to date on vaccines and worming. The last photos include her sire and dam. She is located in Central California. Selling only because we have another baby on the way, and need to make room for daycare expenses. Jewelee is truly a member of our family, and we love her immensely.
