Addy is a big, beautiful, beginner safe Belgian Quarter Horse Cross mare who stands 16.1hh and is 18 years old. She is extremely laid back and easy going. If you can kick and steer you can successfully ride this gentle mare. She is as quiet and safe as they come and she is well broke to ride and drive. Addy isn’t going to be your next speed horse, but she will be your confidence-building best friend who will be happy to head out on a quiet trail ride with a group or by herself.... (read more) She has delightful ground manners and respects your space well. She stands statue still to be groomed, saddled/harnessed and mounted. She has been driven single and double. Addy has miles of road riding and trail riding experience. She’s seen everything from motorcycles to semis, barking dogs, deer jumping out and bicyclists and doesn’t bat an eye at any of it. She’s just about as bombproof as they come. She trailers like a champ and has been trailered to different parks for all day trail rides. She has had riders as small as 3 years old and as heavy as 270+ pounds. She’s the ultimate husband horse as she is phased by nothing and perfectly content just following another horse down the trail. Overall she’s an experienced & reliable mare who’s the same horse if you ride her everyday or once a year.
