Tessa is a strikingly beautiful 17.2hh Belgian mare who is safe, safe, safe for any level, any age, any size rider. She is a seasoned 18 year old who is extremely well broke to ride and drive. She has excellent ground manners and respects your space very well. She is a patient girl who will happily stand tied at the hitching post for as long as you’d like. Tessa has been ridden English, western and bareback and stands great at the mounting block.... (read more) She has a lovely walk, trot and canter and will pick up both leads. Her gaits are super smooth and she’s like a giant couch to ride around bareback. Tessa has been extensively road ridden, trail ridden and river ridden by people with zero riding experience and she clearly knows how to take excellent care of her rider. She’s proven to be very patient and tolerant of the inexperienced guests. She would make an awesome husband horse given her size and quiet disposition. Tessa trailers like a champ and does great in new environments. She will happily ride out alone or lead or follow a group of horses. She’s an extremely uncomplicated ride, so if you can kick and steer, you can certainly ride her.
