Spartan is a 3 year old quarter horse sired by the late great Blue Hancock Cowboy stallion, going back 8 time to Joe Hancock. Spartan's dam is from the same herd of Blue Valentine, Joe Hancock herd as Cowboy. She is unknown as the registration was never done. So Spartan sells as grade. Spartan has received 30 days under saddle. He has had lots of ground work and gentling. You can pick up his feet, but he has never been trimmed. He ties quietly, loads well.... (read more) Spartan sustained a barbed wire cut to his right rear fetlock joint. Treated by a veterinarian and was released as sound to ride. Although it is recommended he not be used as a performance horse. Spartan does not carry a brand. Spartan had his wolf teeth removed at the time he was gelded, age 2. Spartan is located in Nebraska.
