Rooting For Remington “Remi”
There are not enough amazing words I can say about this pony. He is by far, the most special boy I have gotten the opportunity to work with. Remi is always an absolute favorite in the barn, no matter where he goes (even on show grounds he gets the ooohs and ahhs!). And of course, his show name describes the attitude everyone has for this little guy.
Remi is a 10yo, 12.2hh welsh pony.... (read more) He has an amazing in-your-pocket disposition, and always aims to please! When I say puppy dog personality, I mean it! I think he really was a golden retriever in his past life?
Point him at it, he’ll happily oblige! He will hack around outside, jump around a low course, go XC, and cross any mountain trail obstacle. Also, he is always overjoyed to just hang out in the barn. He loves having play dates with other horses, sitting in the aisle stealing cookies, getting glamed
up in the washrack, etc!
He showed in ground poles at Heirloom Equestrian Center in February and at Aspen Farms in the starter division in March. He thrives in all settings, and hauls like a CHAMP!! Mares fighting next to him? He’s doesn’t have a care in the world. All he is interested in is his hay bag.
Like any athlete, Remi would tell you that his favorite pre-workout drink is a Dutch Bros rebel, followed closely by any candy he can get his hoofs on??
Although he does try his bestest to be a perfect smush, Remi is still green and requires a confident kid with a trainer in a program. He lacks consistency when coming into work some days. Some days he comes out a loopy hunter, others he is hyped up as practically a 1.40m jumper (he believes cross rails are close to grand prix height). We would give this guy more time to develop, but college calls so it's time for him to find his forever kid.
We’re looking for a home that will truly bring this guy up to his true potential. More than anything we want him to succeed and be loved.
UTD on shots as of spring, teeth done mid July.
