12 year old strawberry roan, varnish Appy mare, stands approx 15 hands and well built. She is a gentle, uncomplicated horse who prefers the slower paced lifestyle. Would be great for a rider looking for more whoa than go, she is happiest with a buddy that she can just cruise down the path with. Been ridden by kids and beginners, mostly used for trails and pleasure rides in the field. She is not spooky, she's used to dogs, wildlife, traffic, etc...... (read more) tacks up fine or can be ridden bareback, she's a "saddle and go" type that does not need lunged first and does fine with time off. Georgia is low man on the totem pole and will get pushed off feed in a herd, she does ok in a stall and is easy to catch when turned out.
