Zeeva is a well broke bay and white mare that has been used on a ranch checking cattle, riding the fence line, trail riding for the Houston Rodeo. She is broke for anyone to ride. She rides with a loose one hand neck rein, side pass, good back up and stop. She has a smooth walk, trot, and canter and will ride off leg pressure. Zeeva will let you open/close gates from her, she has no problem walking in water, down streams, up/across/down deep ditches/ravines, over fallen trees, thru thick brush, and in the woods with no spook. She has gone everywhere we have pointed her. She is used to heavy equipment, semis, dump trucks, trucks with trailers, lawnmowers, weed eaters, and all their sounds (air breaks), we have a construction company next to us and our horses are exposed daily to "monsters".
Zeeva will stand tied, stand still for bathing, grooming, saddling/tacking up, fly spray, and picking her feet, for mounting (from the ground or a block), the vet/farrier. She is easy to catch, loads and hauls great. She is kid and dog friendly and gets along very well with all of our other horses (mares and geldings alike).
Zeeva would be a good prospect for such things as; ranch sorting, team penning, goat tying, walk/trot, lead line, play days, drill team, little britches, pony club, barrels, poles, trail riding, trail horse competitions, parades, grand entry, 4-H/FFA, English, or as a lesson horse. She has also done natural horsemanship.
Zeeva is a beautiful bay and white paint mare with good conformations, with an attractive head, a beautiful bay face with a strong thick neck and shoulder, nice withers, a straight back, a wide chest, and hip. Zeeva is the perfect size for easier mounting. She would be a great family horse or a good second horse for when company comes and wants to ride. Zeeva will fit the novice/beginner or the old pro that wants something easy to ride. She is sound, sane, and safe with no stable vices, she is ready to go in any direction you want. Please no outside trades, deposits, or payment plans. First come, first serve. No Outside Trades.
All horses are the sole property of Doug Gittins and come with; a 30 day guarantee in writing (as a signed contract), a current negative Coggins, and we give every horse a strep (strangles) and a flu/rhino 4-1 vaccine.
