Cinnamon is a well broke horse with more whoa than go. She was owned and ridden by an older gentleman on his ranch for checking on cattle in the pasture, sorting pairs, and pushing cattle into trailers. She rides with a loose one hand neck rein, has a good backup, and stop. She is very smooth walk, and trot, and will canter when pushed.
Cinnamon will let you carry a flag, open/close gates off of her, has no problem walking in water, down streams, up/across/down deep ditches/ravines, over fallen trees, thru thick brush, in the woods with no spook.... (read more) We have a construction company next door so she is used to heavy equipment, tractors, backhoes, dump trucks, semis, trucks with trailers, lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and their sounds (air breaks).
She has good ground manners, is easy to catch, and is kid and dog friendly. She stands well for bathing, grooming, saddling/tacking up, spraying her with fly spray, and picking her feet, for the farrier/vet, for mounting from either a mounting block or the ground. She also loads great and hauls quietly. She rides the same way every time, whether you ride her every day or once a year, if it's been a while we just warm her up. Cinnamon gets along very well with all of our other horses (mares, and geldings alike), she's not "mare-ish".
She will be a great prospect for; lead line, walk-trot, a lesson horse, little britches, trail riding, play days, barrels, poles, goat tying, ranch sorting, team penning, trail horse competitions, drill team, parades, grand entry, 4H/FFA, a great family/pleasure horse, or a second horse for family and friends to ride when the come to visit.
Cinnamon is a pretty sorrel mare standing 14.2hh with a long beautiful mane and tail. She has star, strip and snip, a partial white pastern on her left hind, a kind eye, a strong neck, and shoulders, a nice wither, a straight back, and a wide chest and hip. Cinnamon is very sweet, easy going and ready to go in any direction you want. She is safe, sound, sane, with no vices. Please no outside trades, deposits, or payment plans. First come, first serve.
