Indie has been with me since she was 3 months old! She was developed and raised with natural horsemanship methods and has never offered anything but willing compliance to do what she was asked. She has been a joy to have around! Of all the horses that I have owned, she is the most affectionate.... (read more) Always coming to greet me when called and unwilling to walk away after a ride! She has never bucked, run off or refused to do anything that was asked of her. I have put complete newbies on her and experienced riders. She is stout, sturdy, and sure-footed. I am offering her for sale as my daughter is heading off to start her life and Indie has been her mount these past few years. She has been ponied and hacked on every adventure since she was one year old. Trailers easily, stands for farrier. Currently she is on pasture, never been stalled.
I brought her out of Kentucky when she was 3 months old with a pasture mate that was just a few months older than she. I would consider selling the two as a matched pair. Both are chocolate Rocky mares and have been developed side by side since they were 3 and 6 months of age. If you are looking for a matched pair for a mother/ daughter or husband/ wife, these two would be perfect. Please ask for photos and videos. Call or text with any questions.
I have been in, on and around horses since I was ten years old. I have raised and ridden many breeds, but the breed I choose for my family was the Rocky Mountain Horse. Hands down, in my opinion, the best al around gaited trail breed for any level of rider.
I am a trail rider and equine hobbyist. I have been in horses since I was ten years old. When my children were young, I wanted to introduce them to horses and I chose the Rocky Mountain Horse as my breed of choice for my family and myself. That was over twenty years ago and they are still my breed of choice for any level of rider.
