Additional Comments
Only listing due to not having enough time to put into her to get her back to where she needs to be and don't want her to sit in case she would be of use to someone else in the meantime. Would prefer she went to a breeder that was interested in her bloodlines but will consider an owner/rider that has plenty of experience. She is Al Khamsa bred. She does have potential with the RIGHT person as far as a riding companion but an inexperienced owner or someone not familiar with Arabians will not work out for Trina.... (read more) She was an abuse/rescue case that has PTSD, I think she may always have it unfortunately. She is broke to ride, has been trail ridden, hauled to trails. She picks up her feet, loads in the trailer, hauls well, has had years of desensitization, groundwork, riding, trail riding, she goes through mud/water (LOVES water apparently and will splash around in it), goes up and over obstacles. The bad: She chronically halter pulls in certain situations when she is uncomfortable (of people or other horses and has done so since we bought her in 2017). I sold her in 2020 and ended up taking her back as she didn't work out for that gal and said she was bolting with her (unaware of the circumstances that caused it, she has yet to bolt with me since being back - was ridden on 2 , 2-3 hour trail rides so far, and didn't the whole time I've owned her prior to her being sold and I was her original trainer but that is something to be considered. Trina is an absolute sweetheart and makes everyone fall in love with her. She was solid under saddle prior to being sold in 2020, anyone could ride her here without issue, and she was trail ridden by a couple beginners but there are no guarantees on how she will act with any certain person off of our farm being she it was said she started having issues to the gal I sold her to. Regardless, Trina at this time is NOT a good fit for anyone not experienced, no kids/teens, or doesn't have some sort of consistent time to put into her if she is of interest as a riding mare. She would probably excel with some sort of job more so than being a trail mare here and there.
