She is a mule with impeccable confirmation.

This mule is a delight. When seen by mule aficionados, she is picked out from my herd due to her color and conformation. She has a perfect cross on her back and has no white nose. This nose has been known as a thieves' delight because a white nose shows up in the dark. She is a delight to be around but needs time to get acquainted.

Her sire is a draft horse and her dame is a palomino mare who was said to resist her nursing because she wanted to bite.... (read more) I bought her when she was three months and not fully weaned. I struggled to bottle fed her for a couple of weeks but she was an independent sweetheart and wanted nothing to do with a bottle. She ate right out of a feed bucket like the big kids. Thus her personality derived from the early days of her life. She was intent on getting her share of the grain I feed twice a day. When my horses line up to be fed, I just tell her to go to the corral and she canters off to her private dining quarters. When I brought her home at three months I let her out of the trailer. She yanked the rope out of my wife's hand and shot across the past to join the herd. Her small size did not worry her a bit among those giants with their heads in the grass.

What I'm saying is she is a very fast learner but demands more than just a "do it!" She wants to understand "why?"

She has been ridden some but needs a moderate rider to get her training up to speed. She'll make a fantastic, sure-footed trail rider who likes her share of the attention.

This is a dark brown/black john mule that has been ridden but needs additional training. He is easily managed and would be a good jumper. I have had him jump the round corral at better than four and a half feet. He is good natured and has been fed grain twice a day his entire seven years. He has been raised on limited pasture and hay in the summer and good pasture in the winter. He is a barefoot mule that has been trimmed and vaccinated regularly.
