Alchemy and Black Magic is a stunning Oldenburg gelding by Ampere out of a Depardiue mare.
Magic is an incredible mover and an incredible jumper but he does have some quirks. He needs a professional ride- or at least someone with the talent and skill of a professional. I am an adult amateur who spends a lot of time on young horses and I don’t have a Big issue with him. That said, if you are capable of handling his quirks, he will take you amazing places. He has been trained through 2nd level and was schooling 3rd easily. He has jumped 3’+ under saddle and cleared 4’3 with room to spare free jumping. I don’t think anyone has reached the end of his talent yet, in the right hands he will easily be an upper level horse in any chosen discipline.
He has been vetted but not had x rays. Nothing was found on the exam but if you are interested in having x rays done I am happy to transport him to a facility to have a full PPE. I believe the issues are behavioral.
He had a year off while I was at vet school because I’m the only one that rides him anymore. I recently hopped on and he was perfect, only the occasional buck and it felt more playful.
