"Fo" is an 10 year old AQHA gelding - and the epitome of "trail horse deluxe". He is the type everyone wants in their backyard to either ride in the arena, or right down the trail, and just flat out enjoy without the goofy business.... (read more)

This guy came from the Dakotas and was being lightly ranched on, and overall just enjoyed around the property. He can ride in the arena like a show horse, or go off on a loose rein down the trail. In the market today, it seems like everything is a trail or ranch horse, which I think can denote the horses that have been there, and actually done the job.

He passed our desensitizing protocol of tarps, ropes, cattle, tractors, and cars. We even have a large brush fire rolling now at all times, and he doesn't bat an eye. We ride him out alone, and is great with steep slopes, rocks, brush, in our back river, and on our dirt road.

There is not a lick of funny business with him. He saddles up and rides off everyday right out of a box stall. Even better, he is the PERFECT height for the taller, larger riders who want something that feels size fitting.

We had planned to hold this guy back for one of our prestigious "specialty" sales, and decided not too because we just have too many horses.
