**Pending Sale*** It's not very often we get the opportunity to promote such a cool crossbred! Ty is an 8yo Belgian/Quarter Horse gelding who came to us from his owners/breeders this year to be fitted and sold. He hadn't seen much riding time in the last couple years and they hated to watch him continue to just hang out in the pasture.
Honestly, I wouldn't be sad if this guy stuck around for a while! He is very well broke W/T/C, backing, sidepasses, pivots etc are all installed.... (read more) Ty is all-business under saddle, no bucking, rearing or the like. He is light in the bridle and responsive to seat and leg aids and is eager to go out and do whatever you dream up to try. We sent him over a few cross rails and he didn't hesitate to pop over them; with some work he could make a very fun hunter partner for someone! Ty was primarily ridden in the fields and woods around the property of his birth, but he has also been exposed to various livestock and has been roped off a few times as well, although he wasn't super excited about a rope being swung off him here. He does tend to be a bit more forward than some draft crosses and with his size and enthusiasm for work he may be intimidating for a beginner rider; although we would consider him a good fit for an advanced beginner with guidance. This guy has no limitations and could excel at nearly anything his future partner desired! Zero maintenance and solid feet that don't require shoes, pssm1 n/n. He is UTD on all cares, excellent manners in the barn and fields, happy in a group or in a paddock alone. Videos are available. Offers would be considered.
