Kara is a talented young filly with a lot of love to give. She has a personality like a dog and loves being with people. She gets along well with both mares and geldings in the pasture, and will be the first one to meet you at the gate. She’s out 24/7 right now and has never tested fencing, she has been stalled and does fine in a stall, but she’d rather be outside.

She was my random draw for the Franklin TN extreme mustang makeover.... (read more) She placed 17th in trail out of 48 competitors, missing the top 10 by just under 5 points (due to handler error). She does much better in outdoor environments, so I believe she would be a great trail or cross country prospect. She LOVES to jump!

She can sidepass both directions, has a nice back up and pivot, has beautiful w/t transitions, and knows a few tricks such as the lay down, bow, spanish walk, and more! She’ll mature in between 15 and 16 hands.

Requires an approved BLM application. Must go to a good home with someone who will stay in touch with me. This filly is very special to me but I can’t keep her due to lack of space.

Lydias Equine Training

Natural Horsemanship Method training. I use a mixture of R+, pressure and release, and other natural horsemanship methods to train all breeds of equines. I’ve been working with unhandled equines for over 4 years, have competed in multiple mustang training competitions, and train bit less and bridle less on occasion.
