Bocephus, 'Bo', is one of a kind. He is so kind and gentle and needs a forever home that will love him and give him comfort. He stands at 15hh and is 16yo. If you are looking for a ranch, trail, or pleasure riding horse, HE IS NOT FOR YOU. If you are looking for a lovebug companion/therapy horse, HE IS FOR YOU.

I had purchased him recently for trail riding but have since decided that he is not sound enough for trail riding.... (read more) He had a rough upbringing based on some of the scars he has on him. He has arthritis in his back legs and cannot pick up a rhythm in a trot. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a child safe horse to lead around the pen, this is your horse. My 2yo rides him alongside of me. He is a babysitter type. He is also such a friendly guy and good mentor in the pasture to the younger gelding I have.

I don't have to let him go, but we need a horse that is sound enough for basic ranch work and I can't keep to many horses on pasture along with our cattle. I'm so sad that he is not sound enough for that because he really does have an amazing head.
